Hello My Creatives

Starting off as primarily a visual artist invested in portraiture and surrealist imagery, my fashion designs are informed by a background in different mediums. How I dressed was always about my self-esteem and feeling confident. As I grow older, it becomes more about communicating to the world who I am and claiming my legacy. By creating mixed media fashion, I hope to make clothes that are vulnerable and empowering to the wearer. What better way to make a first impression than to be authentically you?

Climbing Outside of Oneself

The systems we live under often confine us to individual means of survival. This concept explores how they constrict, close us off, and turn us against each other. Clothes feature a repeating pattern of poetry defining this struggle and breaking out of it to grow into the God's we were meant to be.

Don't Want Your Ad(vice)

A family friend once called smoking a "slow suicide." Over the years, I have witnessed and built my own testimony on how vices suppress dreams and erode at hope for a new reality. The play children participate in and art centers has altered with age and new forms of having fun. With drinking and smoking so normalized, I wanted to explore how these addictive outlets interact with our natural sense for creativity.
